Nifty February 2012 futures above 5200; turnover declines

Nifty February 2012 futures were at 5212.80, at a premium of 8.10 points compared to spot closing of 5204.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 69958.68 crore from Rs 191776.53 crore on Wednesday, 25 January 2012.
Tata Motors February 2012 futures were at 238.80, near pot closing of 240.10.
State Bank of India (SBI) February 2012 futures were at 2021, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2034.80.
L&T February 2012 futures were at 1382.50, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1386.
In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty gained 46.40 points, or 0.9% to settle at 5,204.70, its highest closing level since 9 November 2011.
The near-month February 2012 derivatives contracts expire on 23 February 2012.
