Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India rose 8.80% to Rs 708.74 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against Rs 651.40 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010. Sales rose 6.48% to Rs 2264.35 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against Rs 2126.63 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010.
